You will determine eligibility for Arizonans in need of Nutrition Assistance, Medical Assistance, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. You will work full-time in an office, attending paid classroom training and on-the-job training. You will provide quality customer service to clients in person and by phone, facing challenging situations. What You'll Do6

  • 1Conduct eligibility interviews with clients in person and by phone using Google Suite and Microsoft applications.
  • 2Collect and gather information to determine eligibility for Medical Assistance, Nutrition Assistance, and Cash Assistance.
  • 3Complete applications and interviews by entering data on a computer while navigating multiple screens.
  • 4Provide empathetic customer service to individuals and families facing personal challenges.
  • 5Adhere to agency standards measured by metrics, attendance, service levels, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • 6Review and explain eligibility requirements to applicants from diverse backgrounds and guide them to resources.

Requirements5

  • 11+ year performing eligibility reviews or 1+ year of customer service experience.
  • 2High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • 4Core math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • 5Ability to evaluate and make decisions independently while working on a team.
