What You'll Do9
- 1Evaluate information and apply program standards to determine complex eligibility decisions including intermediate mathematical calculations
- 2Use multiple technology systems to enter review and verify eligibility-related data and documentation
- 3Clearly explain program rules requirements and decisions in writing over the phone and in-person
- 4Review electronic or mail submissions to ensure completeness and compliance
- 5Connect individuals with additional programs and services supporting health and well-being
- 6Engage in outreach to provide program information accept applications and determine eligibility
- 7Gather evidence develop reports and represent the Department at administrative hearings
- 8Demonstrate interviewing and data gathering skills for judgments in eligibility determinations claims resolutions and customer service requests
- 9Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
Requirements5
- 1Four year combination of education training and progressive experience in social services demonstrating interviewing and data gathering abilities
- 2Bachelor degree in Social Services Business Administration or related field
- 3Partial telework availability with management approval
- 4Experience with Spark Airflow and similar platforms
- 5Understanding of healthcare program administration and eligibility frameworks
