What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and monitor ongoing eligibility for government income entitlements
  • 2Coordinate, process, and track financial transactions and related documentation
  • 3Prepare accounting and reporting for Special Needs Trusts and other trust arrangements
  • 4Perform Social Security Representative Payee duties including annual reporting
  • 5Develop relationships with state and local agencies to facilitate benefits administration
  • 6Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and trust accounting activities
  • 7Oversee renewal and maintenance of government entitlement benefits for caseload
  • 8Provide guidance to department staff on entitlement programs and eligibility maintenance
  • 9Ensure compliance with federal and state program requirements
  • 10Maintain accurate client financial records and perform EFTs and reconciliations

Requirements5

  • 1Two years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial recordkeeping, or related financial operations including entitlement processing and/or trust administration
  • 2High School Diploma or GED
  • 3Ability to obtain a valid Arizona Driver’s License by hire
  • 4Must pass a background check
  • 5Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
