Overview

You will support teachers and school administrators by working with students facing behavior challenges in a Glendora, CA classroom. Scale: one-on-one or small groups, reporting progress on IEP and 504 goals. You will join the Educational Services team at Covelo Group, a team dedicated to student success. This contract role offers a Monday to Friday school schedule, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay up to $25.00 per hour. What You'll Do8

  • 1Work one-on-one or with multiple students in a classroom, helping them manage behavior and optimize learning with ABA strategies.
  • 2Encourage positive behaviors and set boundaries using ABA methods tailored to each student.
  • 3Observe and document student progress toward IEP and 504 plan goals in real time.
  • 4Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement behavior intervention plans.
  • 5Adapt ABA techniques to individual student needs and classroom dynamics.
  • 6Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • 7Communicate daily progress and challenges to supervising staff and teachers.
  • 8Support students in developing social and emotional skills through ABA-based activities.

Requirements8

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2Prior ABA experience working with children in a home, facility, or school setting (preferred, not required).
  • 3Current BLS certification.
  • 4Comfort working with students with behavior challenges in a classroom setting.
  • 5Ability to follow IEP and 504 plans with fidelity.
  • 6Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • 7Reliable transportation to Glendora, CA, for on-site work.
  • 8A passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
