What You'll Do8
- 1Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs during 1:1 sessions with children
- 2Collect and record session data using data collection tools to track progress toward goals
- 3Collaborate with BCBAs and therapists during team meetings to adjust strategies
- 4Communicate with parents and caregivers on child's progress and strategies
- 5Maintain a safe and engaging environment for therapy in home, school, or community settings
- 6Attend paid trainings and team meetings to build ABA skills
- 7Drive between client locations and manage a flexible schedule of afternoons and school hours
- 8Adapt session activities to the child's needs and interests to maximize engagement
Requirements8
- 11+ year of college coursework
- 21 year of experience working with children
- 3Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- 4Compassion, patience, and a desire to learn
- 5Interest in psychology, education, or related fields
- 6Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
- 7Available for up to 30 hours per week, mostly afternoons
