Behavior Therapist (RBT) - ABA Therapy in Orange County
Overview
As a Behavior Therapist, you will deliver ABA therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in North Orange County homes, applying RBT techniques under BCBA supervision. You will join a supportive team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and program managers who provide monthly training. Part-time schedule (up to 25 hours/week) with a $750 sign-on bonus. This role offers hands-on clinical growth and flexible hours.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver ABA skills training and behavioral therapy to clients in their homes, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- 2Implement individualized treatment plans created by BCBAs, adjusting in real time based on client responses.
- 3Record session notes and data summaries accurately after each session, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and company standards.
- 4Coach parents and caregivers on behavioral strategies, providing feedback and recommendations during sessions.
- 5Travel between client homes in North Orange County, maintaining a reliable schedule that aligns with their availability windows.
- 6Collaborate with therapists, clinical staff, schools, and other providers to coordinate care and share progress.
- 7Participate in monthly trainings and supervision meetings with BCBAs to refine clinical skills.
- 8Adapt to varying client needs, maintaining energy and motivation to keep sessions engaging and productive.
Requirements8
- 16+ months of ABA experience working with individuals with autism or special needs.
- 2BA/BS in psychology, counseling, social work, education, or related field (preferred).
- 3Availability for blocks between 9am-12pm and/or 2:30pm-8pm, Monday-Friday, for at least 6 months.
- 4Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- 5Bilingual Spanish speaking ability (highly desired).
- 6Pass background check and meet company screening requirements.
- 7Strong clinical insight and critical thinking to handle behavioral challenges.
- 8Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and move actively with clients.
