Overview
You will support students with behavioral needs in San Francisco schools, applying Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) strategies in a 1:1 or classroom setting. You work with students from pre-K to high school, ensuring they stay on task and reach behavioral goals. A paid RBT certification training path is included, with a pay bump upon certification. This role suits both entry-level candidates and experienced techs seeking school-based work.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build rapport with students and teachers to deliver behavioral support in 1:1 or general classroom settings.
- 2Implement ABA strategies to keep students on task and progressing toward behavioral goals.
- 3Adapt to varied daily assignments, supporting multiple students across different grade levels.
- 4Communicate calmly and clearly with children, teachers, and staff.
- 5Stand, walk, sit for extended periods, and bend, crouch, or lift up to 40 pounds.
- 6Provide toileting and diapering assistance on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements6
- 11+ year of applied behavior analysis work experience.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 3Previous school setting experience preferred.
- 4Passion for supporting students in learning and behavior.
- 5Strong assessment skills to evaluate student needs.
- 6Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
