Bartender/Shift Leader - Golf Simulator Venue
Overview
You will own the bar and facility at X-Golf Lincoln, a high-energy golf simulator venue in Boston. You will pour drinks, serve food, and keep the simulators running for up to 10 hours a shift. This role blends bartending with shift leadership, so you will oversee the floor, coordinate leagues, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied. You will work nights and weekends, and you will be the go-to person for both bar service and simulator operations. What You'll Do10
- 1Pour alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and speed, maintaining the bar's high standards.
- 2Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery.
- 3Operate golf simulators and assist guests with course selection, game settings, and troubleshooting.
- 4Run and organize golf leagues, keeping score and managing player rosters.
- 5Balance cash drawer and operate the point of sale system at the end of each shift.
- 6Keep the bar area clean and stocked, from glassware to garnishes, to handle peak crowds.
- 7Enforce age verification for alcohol service, checking IDs for anyone under 21.
- 8Lead the floor during busy shifts, directing staff and resolving customer issues on the spot.
- 9Monitor inventory and restock supplies, flagging low items to management.
- 10Maintain a fun and energetic atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of bartending or 1+ years of shift leadership experience.
- 2Must be 18+ to serve alcohol, with an alcohol certification preferred.
- 3High school diploma or GED required.
- 4Physical stamina to stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for 10-hour shifts.
- 5Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
- 6Basic math skills and experience with point of sale systems.
- 7Working knowledge of golf rules and scoring is a plus.
