Bartender for Vibrant Bar & Billiards Venue
Overview
You will own the bar experience at a lively bar and billiards venue in Raleigh, North Carolina, serving a regular crowd of games enthusiasts and community regulars. You will work alongside a tight-knit team of bartenders, barbacks, and management, delivering friendly service and keeping the bar running smoothly. What You'll Do10
- 1Greet every guest with a smile and deliver exceptional, friendly service.
- 2Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including craft cocktails and beer.
- 3Prepare and serve bar snacks according to presentation standards.
- 4Process transactions accurately using the POS system for cash and card payments.
- 5Record hours worked and report tips via the POS system.
- 6Check customer identification and enforce all liquor laws and safety regulations.
- 7Identify and responsibly handle inebriated guests to maintain a safe environment.
- 8Collaborate with other bartenders and barbacks to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- 9Complete opening and closing checklists, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- 10Restock glassware, beverages, and supplies, and conduct routine safety checks.
Requirements6
- 1Previous bartending experience is a must.
- 2Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
- 3Strong customer service and communication skills.
- 4Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- 5Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- 6Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
