Overview
Own the bar at DJ's Dive, delivering exceptional customer service in a high-volume neighborhood tavern. You'll pour craft beer, mix classic cocktails, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere across day and night shifts. What You'll Do8
- 1Welcome each guest and take drink orders promptly during weekend rushes
- 2Mix and pour cocktails and draft beer with accuracy and speed
- 3Check IDs and enforce responsible alcohol service per state law
- 4Keep the bar top, tools, and glassware clean and stocked throughout your shift
- 5Process payments via cash and card, manage tabs, and tip out accurately
- 6Collaborate with servers and security to ensure smooth service flow
- 7Restock liquor, beer, and bar supplies before and after each shift
- 8Handle guest feedback professionally to maintain a friendly dive bar vibe
Requirements6
- 11+ years of professional bartending experience in a busy bar or restaurant
- 2Strong working knowledge of beer, liquor, and cocktails recipes
- 3Valid ABC certification or TIPS training (or ability to obtain)
- 4Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift 30+ lbs of kegs and cases
- 5Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills with guests and staff
- 6Weekend and evening availability, including holidays and special events
