Bartender, Craft Cocktails & High-Volume Service
Overview
You will own the bar at American Social, a high-volume venue in Miami, delivering craft cocktails and top-tier service to hundreds of guests nightly. You will work alongside FOH and BOH teams, demonstrating speed and precision in every pour. This role demands 3+ years of experience, alcohol awareness certification, and late-night availability. You will master the POS system, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Greet guests promptly and courteously, guiding them through the beverage and food menus with confident recommendations.
- 2Prepare drink orders for servers and guests, following recipes and special requests with accuracy.
- 3Deliver beverages and food, maintaining engagement to ensure a positive experience.
- 4Verify IDs and comply with state and federal liquor laws, adhering to alcohol awareness procedures.
- 5Enter take-out orders into the POS system, ensuring order accuracy.
- 6Maintain bar supplies, fresh ice, garnish, juices, liquor, beer, and wine stock.
- 7Change beer kegs, soft drink containers, and CO2 tanks to ensure fresh product.
- 8Perform bar setup and closing duties, cleaning and sanitizing glassware and equipment.
- 9Clean and prepare tables for new guests, stocking supplies and maintaining a clean environment.
- 10Support FOH and BOH priorities, practicing teamwork and following manager direction.
Requirements10
- 13+ years of experience as a Bartender
- 2Alcohol Awareness Certification required
- 3Ability to work late night shifts, potentially until 12 AM-4 AM
- 4Fluent in English (speak, read, write)
- 5Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- 6Ability to transport items up to 30 pounds
- 7Ability to remain standing and active for 8-12 hour shifts
- 8Tolerance to cold temperatures below 0°F
- 9Ability to hear and respond in a loud environment
- 10Skill in using hands to pour drinks, carry glasses, and cut garnishes
