Overview
You will keep the bar running at Bayshore Club, a high-volume venue in Miami's Grove. You own everything from restocking to tap maintenance. What You'll Do8
- 1Set up the bar each shift: stock garnishes, straws, napkins, glassware, and towels.
- 2Maintain ice levels and rotate liquor, wine, and beer to keep stations full.
- 3Check draft lines and appliances, replace kegs, and make minor repairs as needed.
- 4Clean surfaces, sweep, mop, scrub coolers, and empty trash to keep health standards high.
- 5Memorize cocktail recipes and menu items to support bartenders and answer guest questions.
- 6Take orders, prepare simple drinks, bus tables, open tabs, and process payments during rushes.
- 7Handle guest questions and complaints calmly, escalating to management when needed.
- 8Track usage in inventory systems and verify delivered stock matches invoices.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Minimum age to serve alcohol as required by Florida law.
- 31+ year in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality role.
- 4Knowledge of beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors.
- 5Basic math for tabs and inventory counts.
- 6Computer skills for point-of-sale systems.
- 7Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for 8+ hour shifts.
- 8Schedule flexibility: nights, weekends, and holidays.
