What You'll Do10
- 1Stock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and bar tools before each shift
- 2Prepare bar prep items using recipes with correct portioning and storage
- 3Change beer kegs, soft drink containers, and CO2 tanks to keep product fresh
- 4Clean and sanitize glassware, bar surfaces, and tables to meet presentation standards
- 5Deliver beverages and food to guests while maintaining engagement and a positive experience
- 6Check IDs and follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication
- 7Communicate with team members using radios and coordinate with both FOH and BOH
- 8Maintain bar equipment and report any issues to management
- 9Support restaurant maintenance by stocking supplies and keeping areas clean
- 10Follow all state and federal liquor laws and adhere to safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements9
- 1Must meet local, legal minimum age to serve alcoholic beverages
- 2Ability to work late night shifts, potentially until 12 AM - 4 AM
- 3Alcohol Awareness Certification required
- 4Food handling certificate is a plus
- 5Fluent in English with ability to speak, read, and write
- 6Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. and stand for 8-12 hour shifts
- 7Tolerate exposure to cold temperatures (below 0°F) throughout shift
- 8Hear and respond to requests in a loud environment
