Overview
You will own all bar-side logistics at the VIP Lounge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, keeping every surface spotless and every liquor cabinet stocked for a seamless guest experience. You will work in the back of house with a service team of bartenders and servers, supporting a high-volume night club environment that runs 7 days a week. This role stands out for its direct impact on guest safety and ambiance in one of Florida's premier gaming destinations.
What You'll Do9
- 1Clear empty glasses, bottles, and soiled articles from bar surfaces and guest areas while maintaining a consistent flow of clean supplies.
- 2Stock liquor cabinets, carts, and service stations with bottles, mixers, and bar tools before each shift and throughout service.
- 3Push and pull heavy carts loaded with 50-pound cases of beverage inventory from storage to the bar line without disrupting service.
- 4Sanitize bar tops, counters, and equipment after every rush using established cleaning protocols to meet Gaming Commission Regulations.
- 5Collaborate with bartenders and servers to anticipate replenishment needs, keeping their stations ready for peak demand.
- 6Report broken equipment or low inventory levels to the shift lead immediately to prevent service delays.
- 7Follow all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies on waste disposal and recycling, ensuring zero contamination in back-of-house zones.
- 8Assist with opening and closing duties, including breaking down boxes and compacting trash, to leave the bar ready for the next shift.
- 9Maintain a clean, safe walkway for staff and guests, promptly wiping spills and removing trip hazards.
Requirements8
- 11-2 years of high-volume beverage service in a night club or similar fast-paced bar environment.
- 2High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 3Working knowledge of different beverage brands, including spirits, mixers, and beer.
- 4Must undergo TIPS training on an ongoing basis and maintain active certification.
- 5Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for entire shifts.
- 6Must work without close supervision while staying aligned with team goals.
- 7Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 8Clear communication skills with guests and team members, plus compliance with all Gaming Commission regulations.
