Overview
As a Bartender at Suntex Marina Investors, you take ownership of drink and food orders with a positive attitude across Deep Six, Patio, or Dining Room. You deliver service that brings guests back, keeping the bar stocked and payments collected. You work within a team led by the General Manager, supporting a busy marina environment. Every shift offers variety with waterfront views and seasonal rush.
What You'll Do8
- 1Take drink and food orders from customers accurately, maintaining a positive attitude throughout each shift
- 2Memorize the menu, upsell specialties, and make tailored suggestions to boost guest checks
- 3Extend a warm welcome to every guest, building repeat clientele
- 4Mix and serve a full range of cocktails, beers, and wines with precision
- 5Keep bar stations clean and stocked, complying with sanitation standards
- 6Process payments via POS system, making exact change and closing tabs
- 7Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders
- 8Assist with monthly inventory counts, ensuring accuracy
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or general education degree preferred
- 2Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
- 3Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
- 4Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays during busy season
- 5Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds
- 6Ability to swim or wear a personal flotation device in emergencies
- 7Simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently; squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
