Bartender, Tex-Mex Restaurant
Overview
You will own the bar at Mattito's Tex-Mex, crafting drinks and serving food with a smile. You will handle a high volume of customers during peak hours and keep the bar spotless. You will work alongside a tight-knit team that values hospitality. This role offers flexible scheduling and growth potential for those who shine.
What You'll Do7
- 1Greet every customer with a warm welcome and deliver personal service that makes them feel at home.
- 2Take food and drink orders, then describe menu items with enthusiasm to help guests choose.
- 3Master the coffee preparation process, including specialty drinks, to serve them perfectly.
- 4Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and speed during rush periods.
- 5Clear and reset counters and tables after each guest leaves to keep the flow moving.
- 6Maintain a clean work area all shift, using clean-as-you-go methods to stay ahead of mess.
- 7Resolve guest issues on the spot with quick thinking and a calm, friendly approach.
Requirements5
- 1ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification, or willingness to obtain one.
- 2Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- 3Ability to stand for long periods without a break.
- 4Quick thinking and conflict resolution skills to handle guest issues per brand standards.
- 5Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where every minute counts.
