What You'll Do10
- 1Build a warm, engaging guest experience and provide product recommendations
- 2Lead shifts during busy periods, ensuring service standards and smooth operations
- 3Oversee food safety, cleanliness, and accurate inventory across stations
- 4Monitor menu item presentation and consistency, report shortages promptly
- 5Operate and troubleshoot the POS system and ensure accurate cash handling
- 6Assist with hiring, training, and developing new team members
- 7Support catering and fundraising events with cost and execution planning
- 8Open and close the store independently and manage weekly schedules
- 9Restock supplies and maintain inventory awareness while tracking usage
- 10Create and maintain a positive, inclusive team culture
Requirements9
- 11+ years in a café, tea shop, or fast‑casual food environment
- 2Experience leading shifts or training team members
- 3Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- 4Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- 5Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management
- 6Knowledge of store opening and closing procedures
- 7Positive attitude and growth mindset
- 8Certified Food Protection Manager certification
- 9Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
