Join our team! The Italian Sausage Company was deemed one of Kansas City`s best restaurants by Conde Nast, The Eater, and Kansas City Magazine. We are hiring for both locations: 518 Grand Blvd, Kansas City MO 64106 7319 North Oak trafficway, Gladstone MO 64118.
What You'll Do11
- 1Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- 2Process customer payments accurately using Toast point-of-sale systems
- 3Handle various payment methods including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- 4Greet customers professionally and assist with menu inquiries
- 5Take and process food orders, including dine-in, take-out, and delivery
- 6Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
- 7Perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation
- 8Upselling to meet sales goals and introduce new menu items
- 9Assist in training new staff members on proper procedures, customer service techniques, and food preparation methods
- 10Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism
- 11Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations
Requirements11
- 1Food Managers Card for Clay County or Kansas City
- 2Excellent leadership and communication skills
- 3Strong problem-solving abilities
- 4Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- 5Responsible and accountable work ethic
- 6Proficiency in restaurant operations and customer service
- 7Basic math proficiency
- 8Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
