Overview
Own the bar floor at Friendly Confines Restaurants in Orlando, keeping two bars stocked, clean, and ready for night shifts. You'll handle keg changes, glassware, ice wells, and trash, plus support bartenders and servers during busy weekends. This contract role offers $10.98/hr plus nightly cash tips and weekly pay. You'll work 2-3 shifts per week, mostly nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment that demands physical stamina and guest focus.
What You'll Do7
- 1Fill and rotate bottled and canned beers, keeping shelves stocked and organized
- 2Change kegs, lifting up to 120 pounds, and ensure draft lines stay functional
- 3Clean bar glassware, fill ice wells, and maintain bar cleanliness throughout the shift
- 4Take out trash from bar, restaurant, and restrooms, and restock restroom supplies
- 5Sweep and mop the dining room and bar area at the end of the night
- 6Assist bartenders and servers with clearing tables, breaking down parties, and closing procedures
- 7Complete end-of-night tasks: sweep, mop, take out trash, and help with closing checklists
Requirements6
- 121+ years old (legal age for alcohol handling)
- 2Ability to work until 2-3 am on weekends
- 3Physical strength to lift 120 pounds for keg changes
- 4Reliable transportation and dependable communication skills
- 5Comfortable working without a cell phone during shifts, focusing on guest interaction
- 6New employees only; previous barbacks not considered
