What You'll Do9
- 1Stock the bar with ice, liquor, wine, and beer to keep every shift fully equipped.
- 2Arm bartenders with clean towels, glassware, and supplies so they never slow down.
- 3Check taps and appliances for proper function, swapping kegs or making minor repairs on the spot.
- 4Open and close the bar, setting up and breaking down stations with precision.
- 5Sweep and sanitize the bar area, keeping it spotless and guest-ready at all times.
- 6Restock garnishes and mixers as service demand peaks and dips.
- 7Back up bartenders during rushes, handing off drinks and clearing glassware to keep the line moving.
- 8Troubleshoot equipment issues before they impact service, reporting problems to management when needed.
- 9Bring fresh ideas for efficiency or guest experience to the team huddle.
Requirements7
- 1TABC and Food Handlers Certificate required to serve in New York.
- 21+ seasons barback, server, or busser experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar.
- 3Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and stand for 8-hour shifts.
- 4Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, especially opening week in summer.
- 5Organizational skills to keep inventory and supplies sorted under pressure.
