Overview
You will own the storefront experience at 85°C Bakery Cafe in Stonestown, serving over 1,000 daily customers with fresh pastries and drinks. You will cross-train across Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar stations, working with a team of 10-15 associates. This contract role demands weekend availability and a commitment to ServSafe standards. You will grow rapidly in a global brand featured on TIME and CNN, with free meals and 20% off products.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations, making every guest's experience memorable.
- 2Master POS transactions and cash handling with accuracy and speed, reducing wait times during peak hours.
- 3Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages at the Bar station, following recipes and presentation standards.
- 4Bake bread and decorate cakes in the Bread and Cake departments, ensuring product freshness and quality.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized storefront, enforcing Health Department regulations and ServSafe guidelines.
- 6Collaborate with the store management team to create an uplifting work atmosphere and achieve daily sales goals.
- 7Adapt to changing priorities, cross-training across all departments and taking on new tasks as assigned.
- 8Adhere to all company policies, including punctuality and dress code, to uphold brand standards.
Requirements8
- 1High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 21+ years of fast food or retail experience preferred, with proven customer service skills.
- 3Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- 4Acceptable verbal English communication skills for customer interaction.
- 5ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- 6Must be available to work 20+ hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
- 7Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- 8Comfort working in extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
