Overview
You will own AV/VC support for a global client, handling high-profile events and conference room technology. You will work with Crestron control systems, QSC Q-SYS DSP, and Shure microphones, collaborating with remote teams on system certification. This role demands independent problem-solving and a customer-first mindset, with occasional travel to client offices.
What You'll Do9
- 1Install AV equipment including audio and video conferencing gear, distributed audio, digital signage, and control systems.
- 2Pull, terminate, and test Cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI, and audio cables for structured cabling.
- 3Upload Crestron control programs and coordinate with the remote team on control system certification.
- 4Track and manage inventory, including weekly and monthly stock levels, RMAs, and DOA issues.
- 5Diagnose and resolve AV issues during installations and events, ensuring minimal downtime.
- 6Set up and break down equipment for events, performing pre-event checks and troubleshooting.
- 7Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal users before and during events to meet requirements.
- 8Interface with end users and vendors to address service requests and technical requirements.
- 9Maintain conference rooms by identifying and solving audio and video issues proactively.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED with 0-2 years related experience or equivalent training.
- 2Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for occasional travel.
- 3Ability to read and interpret architecture, electrical, structural, and AV systems drawings.
- 4Hands-on expertise in wiring, termination, and proper installation of AV equipment.
- 5Strong verbal and written communication for customer-facing roles.
- 6Availability for day, evening, or weekend shifts and travel to support events.
- 7Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- 8Working knowledge of QSC Q-SYS DSP, Logitech Sync, Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Shure MXA microphones (preferred).
