Overview
You will own the installation of cabling infrastructure and CCTV/AV devices for commercial building projects in the San Francisco area, working from blueprints and BOMs to deliver client satisfaction. You'll collaborate with Project Managers and Sales Teams to ensure accurate implementation, troubleshooting on the fly to complete jobs. This role stands out for its blend of hands-on network rack installation and customer interaction, with room to grow into system programming.
What You'll Do7
- 1Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data, Audio Visual, and CCTV, including pre-wiring, termination, labeling, testing, and reporting per specs.
- 2Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms, ensuring proper cable management and labeling.
- 3Complete detailed documentation: OHS checks, packing slips, checklists, as-builts, and test results.
- 4Interact with customers and prospects, resolving inquiries professionally and providing high-service levels.
- 5Adhere to Bosch's Quality and Safety programs, including pre-employment screening compliance.
- 6Travel to job sites and work overtime as needed, maintaining a clean driving record.
- 7Lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights over 6 feet, using industry tools including power tools.
Requirements9
- 11+ years in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory and installation (e.g., HVAC).
- 2Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 3Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
- 4Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
- 5Ability to use hand and specialty power tools associated with the industry.
- 6Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and work independently.
- 7Preferred: 1+ year in a technical role with a Residential or Commercial Integrated Security Systems company.
- 8Preferred: Associates degree (2 year) in a technical capacity.
- 9Preferred: Aptitude for learning system programming, evidenced by 1 year of related experience.
