Overview
You will own the delivery of seamless audio-visual experiences across corporate functions and integrated systems in San Francisco. You will install, configure, and calibrate AV equipment, including audio, video, and control systems, ensuring flawless operation. Working with a dynamic team, you will support live event production and maintain cutting-edge systems. This contract role offers hands-on work with DSP and control system programming.
What You'll Do8
- 1Install, configure, and calibrate audio, video, control, and telecommunication systems in diverse venues.
- 2Debug and repair equipment issues, including digital signal processing faults and hardware failures.
- 3Program control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX) to automate AV operations and enhance user experience.
- 4Perform routine maintenance on AV equipment, including cabling, mechanical components, and software updates.
- 5Support live event AV production by setting up sound reinforcement, video displays, and lighting controls.
- 6Read electrical schematics and blueprints to guide installation and troubleshooting.
- 7Implement audio systems in live event settings, ensuring optimal sound quality and coverage.
- 8Maintain telecommunication infrastructure that supports AV networks and integrated systems.
Requirements8
- 12+ years experience in AV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- 2Expertise in control system programming for AV environments, including Crestron or AMX.
- 3Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues related to DSP, software, and hardware.
- 4Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering documents.
- 5Proven experience implementing audio systems in live event venues.
- 6Mechanical knowledge for installing mounting hardware and AV components.
- 7Familiarity with telecommunication infrastructure supporting AV networks.
- 8Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco and adapt to varying event schedules.
