Automotive Alignment Technician responsible for aligning tires and wheels using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure straight and true vehicle travel. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and balance tires and wheels to achieve proper caster, camber, toe and thrust angles
- 2Design alignment procedures using latest equipment to minimize tire wear and improve vehicle handling
- 3Lead oil changes, filter replacements, and basic tire services as needed to support shop demand
- 4Ship and install newly mounted tires on customers vehicles and verify roadworthiness
- 5Own completion of state inspections where applicable and document results
- 6Scale shop productivity by following standardized service protocols and safety practices
- 7Debug alignment issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- 8Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring quality workmanship and clear communication
- 9Improve overall shop efficiency by organizing work area and coordinating with technicians
Requirements9
- 1Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in mounting, dismounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training
- 3Preferred state inspection license
- 4Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, reach and perform repetitive movements
- 5Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
- 6On-site training provided and willingness to work a full-time schedule
- 7Prior experience in automotive service or tire center environment is a plus
- 8Strong customer service orientation and ability to follow safety procedures
- 9Stable work history and reliability
