Automotive Alignment Technician, Auto Service & Tire Center
Overview
* Automotive Alignment Technicians own the wheel alignment process at our Charlotte service center, ensuring wheels travel straight and true across a high-volume shop. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment to measure caster, camber, toe and thrust angles and perform related maintenance and inspections. Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality tire and vehicle services and contribute to a dependable customer experience. What You'll Do7
- 1Build and adjust wheel alignments to target specifications to reduce tire wear and improve handling.
- 2Design and conduct state inspections and perform oil changes and flat repairs as part of a complete service offering.
- 3Lead tire mounting, dismounting and balancing for customers while ensuring safety and accuracy.
- 4Own the diagnostic and service process for alignment related issues and communicate needed repairs to customers.
- 5Scale operations by following standard procedures and documenting service notes for each vehicle.
- 6Debug alignment issues using precise measurements and adjust components as required.
- 7Drive customer satisfaction by delivering timely, quality service and maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 1 year of experience or training in mounting, dismounting, rotating and balancing tires
- 2Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 3Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repetitive movements
- 4Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
- 5Preferred state inspection license
