Auto Mechanic, ASE Certified & Vehicle Diagnostics
Overview
Own the repair and maintenance of customer vehicles in a high production shop. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across a wide range of makes and models. Work with a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build diagnostic and repair plans for customer vehicles in the first 60 days
- 2Design and perform A/C, brakes, electrical, cooling, and fuel system repairs with quality checks
- 3Lead road tests to verify proper operation after service and document outcomes
- 4Ship and organize components, fluids, and tools to support efficient turnaround
- 5Own preventive maintenance tasks and record vehicle information per department protocols
- 6Scale shop operations by following procedures, safety rules, and quality standards
- 7Debug electrical and braking concerns using wiring schematics and test equipment
- 8Drive customer satisfaction through prompt, courteous service and clear communication
- 9Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work environment
Requirements8
- 1High School diploma or GED preferred
- 22 to 3 years of experience in automotive repair field
- 32 ASE Certifications preferred
- 4Basic computer skills
- 5Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 6Effective interpersonal skills and teamwork
- 7Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
- 8Regular, consistent, punctual attendance
