Overview
Design and develop ATE test programs for high power networking switches with >100G serdes. Lead test hardware development and optimization at Broadcom's R&D center in Irvine CA. Collaborate across functions to ship products to manufacturing. Seeking engineer with deep test automation expertise.
What You'll Do9
- 1Develop ATE test program for high power switches featuring advanced serial interfaces
- 2Drive hardware development including final test and probe integration
- 3Optimize test programs to reduce cycle time while maintaining quality standards
- 4Collaborate with product engineers to define test requirements
- 5Debug and resolve hardware failures through cross-functional teamwork
- 6Perform volume data analysis correlating failures with system issues
- 7Utilize Python for test method development and script creation
- 8Conduct extreme temperature testing of ASICs at ATE facilities
- 9Maintain documentation for complex test procedures and results
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years experience or Master's with 3+ years experience
- 2Hands-on experience with Teradyne UltraFlex testers
- 3Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 5Experience with AI tools for rapid script development
- 6Ability to work with cross-functional teams including PCB designers
