Associate Vice President, Engineering Managed Services
Overview
Lead and scale complex engineering programs across geographies, managing internal applications, infrastructure, and vendor ecosystems. Drive multi-stream delivery with a product engineering mindset, shaping modern technology platforms for clients. You will influence strategy, pricing, and delivery quality while coaching teams and building client partnerships.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and lead pursuit teams and contribute to pricing strategies to win engagements
- 2Design deliverable structures and secure buy‑in from top management to ensure on‑time, quality delivery
- 3Drive multi‑vendor delivery programs across global teams including near‑shore and offshore resources
- 4Own accountability for sales quota through hunting and farming approaches and for delivery economics and risk management
- 5Lead planning and budgeting, develop solutions, and create thoughtware and point‑of‑view documents
- 6Coach IT staff and guide future staffing needs while supporting delivery teams in local offices
- 7Scale and manage complex programs surrounding internal applications and infrastructure
- 8Collaborate with consultants, vendors, and clients to modernize technology and data platforms
- 9Perform technology leadership across Java, .Net, cloud and mainframe environments
- 10Incorporate AI practices to improve efficiencies and reduce redundancies
Requirements10
- 112+ years in application support including lights on services development and customization
- 210+ years leading geographically dispersed teams to design and support Java and Microsoft technology solutions on Cloud and .Net
- 33+ years selling application managed services to clients with hunting and farming experience
- 410+ years leading large‑scale global technology delivery teams
- 5Hands‑on development in Java or .Net or Mainframe
- 6Strong ability to articulate software engineering concepts to business and technical audiences
- 7Experience in multi‑vendor environments and with third parties
- 8Extensive team leadership including managing people, projects, clients and financials
- 9Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or related field; Master’s preferred
- 10PMP and ITIL certifications preferred, plus other relevant certifications such as AWS or Google
