What You'll Do5
- 1Build underwriting guidance within established standards to issue title insurance commitments and policies
- 2Design and apply underwriting standards and guidelines in accordance with company processes
- 3Provide counsel to personnel and customers on real estate settlement services and related risks
- 4Authorize underwriting actions within delegated authority and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- 5Lead collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver next-generation real estate solutions
Requirements5
- 1Law degree required and admitted to practice in the state of employment
- 2Licensed to practice law in good standing
- 31-4 years title underwriting experience with preference for commercial exposure
- 4Strong knowledge of real estate title, settlement processes, and related regulations
- 5Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
