What You'll Do6
- 1Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters including premises liability commercial auto products liability construction defect and public entity defense claims
- 2Draft dispositive motions discovery responses and other litigation pleadings
- 3Attend and take depositions as cases develop
- 4Coordinate with insurance carriers and adjusters on case strategy and coverage issues
- 5Mentor junior associates or receive mentorship as appropriate
- 6Balance 1900 annual billable hour target with bonus incentives for excess hours
Requirements6
- 11-6+ years litigation experience or senior level experience preferred
- 2Juris Doctor from accredited law school and active California license
- 3Background in insurance defense litigation such as premises liability commercial auto products liability construction defect or public entity defense
- 4Strong legal research writing and motion drafting skills
- 5Ability to work independently as senior attorney or collaborate with mentorship as junior associate
- 6Experience meeting 1900 annual billable hour target with bonus eligibility
