What You'll Do9
- 1Draft pleadings, including complaints, answers, and motions, for personal injury cases.
- 2Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for production.
- 3Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses.
- 4Prepare case evaluations and settlement analyses for mediation and negotiation.
- 5Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and claims adjusters on case strategy.
- 6Argue law and motion hearings and appear at court conferences.
- 7Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and case strategy.
- 8Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, meeting court deadlines.
- 9Support public entity clients with specialized litigation needs.
Requirements6
- 13+ years of defense-oriented litigation experience, preferably in personal injury.
- 2Juris Doctor degree and active membership in the Arizona State Bar.
- 3Proven ability in legal research and written advocacy.
- 4Exceptional verbal communication skills for client and court interactions.
- 5Experience with public entity clients is preferred.
- 6Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to grow.
