Overview

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine seeks an AVP leading PT and OT operations across 16 Chicago clinics. You will own strategy operations finance talent clinical quality and growth while reporting directly to the COO. This is a mission-driven role focused on integrating therapy with orthopedic care and expanding access for underserved populations.

What You'll Do23

• 1Drive daily operations across PT and OT including staffing scheduling patient throughput and workflow standardization
• 2Integrate therapy with orthopedic clinics to reduce referral leakage and improve patient flow
• 3Build coverage models supporting in-person hybrid and tele-rehabilitation options
• 4Expand PT/OT footprint by identifying new locations based on referral patterns and payer mix
• 5Optimize speed-to-first-visit and patient retention through systematic process improvements
• 6Partner with surgeons and physicians to create protocol-driven rehabilitation pathways
• 7Embed PT/OT early in patient journeys from prehabilitation to post-operative care
• 8Align utilization with evidence-based guidelines and value-based care objectives
• 9Own P&L for PT/OT service lines managing revenue expenses and contribution margin
• 10Develop operational dashboards providing real-time visibility into performance metrics
• 11Define and own KPIs such as visits per case units per visit therapist productivity and days to first visit
• 12Create a culture of data transparency empowering Clinic Managers to own their performance
• 13Recruit develop and retain high-performing PT and OT clinicians and leaders
• 14Coach Clinic Managers on operational financial and clinical success
• 15Design scalable staffing models leveraging PTAs COTAs and support staff
• 16Run 90-day OKRs aligned with organizational priorities
• 17Drive disciplined execution against growth operational and financial targets
• 18Understand outpatient therapy economics billing and reimbursement at depth
• 19Build and maintain academic partnerships for talent pipeline development
• 20Develop standardized dashboards and KPIs across the therapy organization
• 21Lead talent development and coaching excellence
• 22Foster growth mindset with strong attention to access and retention
• 23Integrate clinical quality with financial performance
