What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct thorough evaluations including goniometry manual muscle testing and functional assessments
- 2Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- 3Utilize therapeutic exercises manual therapy Graston Dry Needling MDT Mulligan and modalities to reduce pain and improve function
- 4Educate patients on conditions treatment goals and injury prevention strategies
- 5Document progress accurately using Epic Hyperspace EMR
- 6Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless patient-centered care
- 7Supervise a 1:1 Physical Therapist to PTA ratio ensuring continuity of care
- 8Pursue continuing education and professional development in advanced PT techniques including Blood Flow Restriction Therapy
Requirements7
- 1Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois
- 2Graduation from accredited Physical Therapy program DPT preferred
- 3Preferred 2+ years orthopedic experience
- 4Board certification in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine
- 5Experience with athletes or post-surgical patients
- 6Proficiency with Epic Hyperspace EMR
- 7Strong manual therapy skills Graston Dry Needling MDT Mulligan
