What You'll Do6
- 1Build engaging, child-directed activities with the lead teacher to foster independence and curiosity
- 2Supervise students during classroom work cycles, outdoor play, and transitions to ensure a safe, respectful environment
- 3Prepare and maintain Montessori materials and a clean, organized classroom space
- 4Observe and document individual student progress and milestones to inform instruction
- 5Foster a safe inclusive classroom community and supportive peer interactions
- 6Communicate warmly with parents guardians and staff to share updates and collaborate on goals
Requirements7
- 1Experience working with young children in school daycare or educational setting
- 2Familiarity with Montessori philosophy and methods is a plus
- 3ECE units or degree preferred
- 4Patient nurturing and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for children
- 5Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 6Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements
- 7Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
