What You'll Do7

  • 1Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with Early Childhood Education standards for preschool and toddler groups.
  • 2Supervise children during all activities, applying Classroom Management techniques to ensure safety and engagement.
  • 3Build social and emotional skills through guided play and structured activities that foster independence and curiosity.
  • 4Partner with parents through regular updates on developmental milestones, using clear and empathetic communication.
  • 5Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety codes, including Pediatric First Aid readiness.
  • 6Document incidents and concerns per Mandated Reporting laws to uphold child welfare standards.
  • 7Coordinate with staff to adapt activities for children with special needs, aligning with ADA guidelines.

Requirements7

  • 11+ years of experience in daycare or preschool settings, with direct care for infants and toddlers.
  • 2Certification in First Aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire.
  • 3Knowledge of Child Development stages and Classroom Management strategies.
  • 4Experience with Special Education or disability support is a plus.
  • 5Strong verbal communication for parent and team collaboration.
  • 6Ability to maintain safety in a dynamic environment while showing patience and care.
  • 7Familiarity with Mandated Reporting laws for child abuse or neglect.
