Childcare Teacher, Early Childhood Education & Preschool
Overview
You will own daily classroom operations for infants and toddlers, building a safe and stimulating environment that supports early development. Working with a collaborative team, you will implement Montessori-inspired activities and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications to ensure child safety. What You'll Do7
- 1Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with Early Childhood Education standards for preschool and toddler groups.
- 2Supervise children during all activities, applying Classroom Management techniques to ensure safety and engagement.
- 3Build social and emotional skills through guided play and structured activities that foster independence and curiosity.
- 4Partner with parents through regular updates on developmental milestones, using clear and empathetic communication.
- 5Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety codes, including Pediatric First Aid readiness.
- 6Document incidents and concerns per Mandated Reporting laws to uphold child welfare standards.
- 7Coordinate with staff to adapt activities for children with special needs, aligning with ADA guidelines.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of experience in daycare or preschool settings, with direct care for infants and toddlers.
- 2Certification in First Aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire.
- 3Knowledge of Child Development stages and Classroom Management strategies.
- 4Experience with Special Education or disability support is a plus.
- 5Strong verbal communication for parent and team collaboration.
- 6Ability to maintain safety in a dynamic environment while showing patience and care.
- 7Familiarity with Mandated Reporting laws for child abuse or neglect.
Salary Insight
$58 - $69k per year
