What You'll Do16
- 1Assist Superintendent with site supervision and direct foremen when needed
- 2Perform pre-inspections and verify code compliance before formal inspections
- 3Collect subcontractor safety paperwork and report violations
- 4Walk unit sites to ensure quality and cleanliness, creating punch lists
- 5Oversee safe operations and enforce safety violations immediately
- 6Complete daily reports and submit manpower counts
- 7Coordinate 6-week look-ahead schedules and trade organization
- 8Take meeting minutes and email them to trade personnel
- 9Find and print updated scopes of work
- 10Draft RFIs and send to Project Manager for review
- 11Create red lines on plans and maintain real-time updates
- 12File accident and SWPPP reports while correcting violations
- 13Maintain phone lists of foremen and update daily
- 14Control site facilities including toilets, washing stations, and lighting
- 15Ensure proper PPE and monitor subcontractor compliance
- 16Manage site sign-in sheets and coordinate visitor access
Requirements9
- 12 years of multi-family construction experience or equivalent
- 2Knowledge of Type-V construction methods and UBC/NEC/UPC/NFPA codes
- 3OSHA 30 certification
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office and civil plans
- 5Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced settings
- 6Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- 7High integrity and dependability with confidentiality
