Overview
You will own daily store operations, customer service, and team development at a high-volume Dollar Tree location. You coordinate truck deliveries, maintain seasonal displays, and process corporate directives under tight deadlines. You supervise and train associates while protecting company assets and ensuring safety standards. This contract role in Las Vegas requires a leader who thrives on diverse tasks and fast-changing priorities.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead store opening and closing procedures, securing cash and assets per Dollar Tree policy
- 2Supervise and train store associates, fostering a positive and respectful team environment
- 3Process corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey requests
- 4Direct truck unloading and merchandise transfer from stockroom to sales floor, maintaining seasonal displays
- 5Order merchandise, process damaged items, and manage records for payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits
- 6Enforce loss prevention policies and secure company assets, including store cash
- 7Maintain store cleanliness, stocking, and restroom standards to company guidelines
- 8Solve customer issues with a positive approach and address questions or concerns promptly
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store
- 3Ability to lift 55 lbs and meet physical demands including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
- 4Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- 5Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- 6Ability to read and interpret operational directives such as merchandise schematics
- 7Willingness to work a high-energy, team-based environment
