Assistant Property Manager, Commercial Real Estate & Operations
Overview
Owner of tenant and vendor relations within a commercial real estate portfolio, supporting lease administration, financial reporting, and property operations at scale. You will partner with the Property Manager, Engineering, Accounting, Tenants, and Vendors to enhance portfolio performance and tenant experience. This role blends operations, financials, and customer service across a dynamic onsite environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and coordinate tenant communications and service requests via the Commercial Cafe Work Order system
- 2Assist with lease administration including reviews of lease abstracts and compliance monitoring
- 3Support CAM reconciliations, operating expense tracking, and rent collection
- 4Prepare monthly property reports with financial variances and occupancy updates
- 5Support property inspections, maintenance follow-ups, and life safety improvements
- 6Maintain accurate lease, vendor, and compliance documentation
- 7Prepare reports and contracts for property management initiatives
- 8Drive ongoing improvements to operating efficiency and tenant experience
- 9Coordinate move-ins/out, parking, and building access
- 10Assist with budgeting and financial analysis to inform decisions
Requirements5
- 1associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- 23+ years of commercial property management experience
- 3Experience with Yardi Voyager, CommercialCafe, or comparable software preferred
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- 5Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
