Overview
You will co-lead the Delta One SEA account in Seattle, WA, steering daily operations alongside the General Manager to hit financial targets and client expectations. You oversee 16,000 chefs and in-unit associates across corporate cafes and executive dining rooms, ensuring safety, sanitation, and quality. Your team includes supervisors, cooks, and support staff, reporting to the GM. You drive profitability, mentor staff, and elevate catering experiences. This role stands out for its blend of high-volume hospitality and strategic financial management.
What You'll Do8
- 1Hire, train, and coach employees and managers to build a high-performing team within the first 90 days.
- 2Run daily dining operations, including catering, vending, and executive dining, to meet client expectations.
- 3Control food costs by managing purchasing, inventory, and production, using HACCP standards.
- 4Plan menus with chefs, focusing on upscale offerings and seasonal variety.
- 5Prepare budgets, flash reports, and financial forecasts to guide the account's performance.
- 6Enforce health, fire, and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections.
- 7Solve operational issues to improve service, performance, and safety.
- 8Manage cash handling for multiple registers, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
Requirements9
- 15-7 years upscale food service experience, including 1+ year in multi-unit management.
- 2Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3ServSafe or Department of Health certification (preferred).
- 4Strong catering experience with banquet and event execution.
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 6Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- 7Ability to multitask and adapt to constant changes in a high-volume environment.
- 8Knowledge of cash handling and financial reporting.
- 9Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional business etiquette.
