Overview
Lead the Athletic Department’s primary creator of creative media content including video photo and graphic items used on social media platforms. Drive and execute digital content and social media strategy ensuring consistent compelling voice and visual identity. Produce high quality engaging content for real time coverage and planned campaigns.

- 4Create video highlight and feature packages to promote Loyola athletics
- 5Produce timely highlights following games
- 6Develop concepts for direct produce and edit video features relating to athletic academic and community service accomplishments
- 7Work in cooperation with Athletic Communications Athletics Marketing team and coaches to develop concepts and produce content
- 8Maintain deep understanding of digital media trends and platform specific strategy and analytics
- 9Coordinate monitoring and response plans especially around high visibility moments or events
- 10Communicate effectively across audiences including student athletes staff fans and external partners bringing creativity and professionalism
- 11Create content for video boards at Ridley Athletic Complex and Reitz Arena including hype videos motion headshots and feature content
- 12Collaborate with Loyola Athletic Marketing and Van Wagner Sports Enterprises for sponsored video content
- 13Work with Event Services and Athletics Marketing for content delivery on game days
- 14Distribute video to external media constituencies Patriot League opponents and other entities when requested
- 15Maintain organized system cataloging video clips and archive for future use
- 16Create system for using cameras and other video equipment with athletic communications staff
- 17Serve as primary user and caretaker of athletic communications video equipment
- 18Recommend pieces that should be replaced or upgraded in cooperation with athletic department staff members
- 19Fulfill role as primary content creator for end of year athletics banquet including highlight videos and other elements
- 20Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by supervisor
- 21Attend and participate in required training for role
- 22Work weekend and evening hours to cover sporting events and related activities
- 23Perform occasional domestic travel ten percent of time with teams throughout competitive season including conference and postseason play
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Video Production Digital Media Communications or related field
- 2One year experience with Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects Photoshop or similar video production editing software
- 3One year of collegiate sports experience
- 4One year of experience with videography including lighting on location shooting post production and editing of live sporting events
- 5One year of experience managing video projects for social media website and video board including conceptualization shooting filming producing editing and sound engineering
- 6Eligibility to work in United States and pass employment eligibility verification by first day of employment
