You'll own strategic oversight of a multi-family portfolio across Texas, spanning 4,000+ units in 13 communities. Working directly with the Managing Director of Operations, you'll drive performance through financial analysis, partner management, and capital projects. What You'll Do10

  • 1Analyze monthly financial statements to monitor property performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • 2Partner with third-party management groups to positively influence site team performance.
  • 3Set rent pricing strategy and adjust as market conditions shift.
  • 4Negotiate third-party contracts to drive additional income.
  • 5Direct property management partners based on market trend insights.
  • 6Benchmark property performance against comparable properties.
  • 7Review marketing programs and adjust for optimal results.
  • 8Conduct regular property visits to assess physical condition and operations.
  • 9Prepare internal reports and present findings to the management team weekly.
  • 10Coordinate capital projects, including bid review, contract negotiation, and supervision.

Requirements10

  • 15+ years in multi-family asset management, with market rate and affordable housing experience preferred.
  • 2Skilled in financial reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting, including capital improvement planning.
  • 3Understanding of real estate asset management principles, focusing on portfolio optimization and value creation.
  • 4Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • 5Familiarity with contracts, leases, and leasing objectives.
  • 6Ability to initiate bid requests and manage vendors and contractors.
  • 7Professional presentation in all customer communications and actions.
  • 8Solid time management, prioritizing and balancing multiple tasks.
  • 9Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently.
  • 10Proficiency in MS Office and experience with lead tracking programs; Yardi Voyager is a plus.
