Asset Management Technology Project Manager
Overview
Own delivery of strategic technology initiatives across asset management and asset servicing, spanning project management, business analysis, software development, and cloud transformation. Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver complex programs on schedule and within budget. Work alongside Scrum Masters, Developers, and Data Engineers in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. This role drives modernization of core platforms and data pipelines, offering broad exposure to AWS, Azure, and GCP ecosystems.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver asset management technology solutions, defining scope, timeline, and milestones.
- 2Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as Scrum Master.
- 3Drive requirements gathering and documentation as Business Analyst, translating business needs into technical specs.
- 4Oversee data engineering projects involving ETL pipelines, data lakes, and cloud migration to AWS or Azure.
- 5Coordinate platform modernization efforts, ensuring integration with existing trading and portfolio management systems.
- 6Track and communicate project status to stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies across workstreams.
- 7Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve quality.
- 8Align project deliverables with regulatory and compliance requirements specific to asset management.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in project management or Scrum Master within financial services, ideally asset management.
- 23+ years hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including SAFe or LeSS.
- 3Strong business analysis skills, with ability to create BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
- 4Experience with data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, or Snowflake.
- 5Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a plus.
- 6Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 7Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other Agile tools.
- 8Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Java for technical discussions.
