Technical Project Manager, Cloud Migration & Scrum
Overview
You will own delivery of a cloud migration program for a banking client, coordinating stakeholders and driving governance across enterprise systems. You will work with AWS and Azure environments, bridging technical teams and business leaders. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite in Boston, blending project management with Scrum mastery and technical documentation. You will bring clarity to complex migration efforts through diagrams and written specs, ensuring on-time, compliant delivery.
What You'll Do8
- 1Drive cloud migration milestones, coordinating with engineering leads on AWS and Azure infrastructure upgrades.
- 2Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, removing blockers and tracking velocity for migration squads.
- 3Produce technical diagrams and documentation for architecture reviews, using Visio or Lucidchart.
- 4Manage stakeholder communications, reporting progress against program governance checkpoints.
- 5Own risk and issue logs, escalating critical path items to program sponsors.
- 6Coordinate release windows for cutover activities, validating rollback plans with DevOps.
- 7Conduct sprint retrospectives to improve delivery cadence and team efficiency.
- 8Ensure compliance with banking regulations, documenting audit trails for migration procedures.
Requirements8
- 15+ years managing technical projects, with 2+ years in Scrum Master role.
- 2Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure migration projects.
- 3Proven ability to create technical diagrams using Visio or Lucidchart.
- 4Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and cloud-native services.
- 5Experience in banking or financial services domain.
- 6CSP or PMI-ACP certification preferred.
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication, with technical writing samples.
