Assembly Technician III, Solder & Aerospace Manufacturing
Overview
Own complex electronic assembly and repair tasks for aerospace products on a 3rd shift, ensuring high quality soldering and component installation. You will read engineering prints, select parts, and document work while collaborating with a skilled team. This role focuses on precision assembly in a safety-critical environment. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and solder electronic components to engineering specifications producing reliable assemblies
- 2Design and follow prescribed repair techniques while verifying part and material accuracy
- 3Ship and install completed assemblies into system test setups and ensure proper functioning
- 4Debug and troubleshoot failed components and implement corrective actions
- 5Drive documentation of procedures, test results, and work status to support seamless workflow
- 6Own safety practices and chemical handling in a regulated aerospace environment
- 7Scale hand and machine assembly activities across multiple work orders
- 8Provide clear communication with team members and support staff to maintain progress
- 9Measure, mix, and apply adhesives and chemicals per safety standards
- 10Read technical data and engineering prints to ensure correct configuration and compliance
Requirements5
- 1Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience in absence of a HS Diploma or GED
- 2Ability to work 3rd shift hours Monday – Thursday or Sun-Wednesday 8:00pm - 6:00am
- 3IPC Class III Solder Certification preferred
- 4Experience with electronic assembly
- 5Experience in the aerospace industry
