What You'll Do7

- 4Collaborate with medical staff and support services to develop educational workshops on therapeutic arts
- 5Supervise and train new hires in clinical art therapy practices and ethical standards
- 6Maintain physical readiness to navigate clinical environments and assist with equipment setup
- 7Translate complex therapeutic concepts into accessible language for patients and caregivers
Requirements7
- 1Master’s degree in Art Therapy (AATA approved) or related mental health discipline with 700 supervised practicum hours
- 2Board certification as an Art Therapist (AATA)
- 3One year clinical experience with demonstrated expertise in pediatric settings
- 4Physical stamina to lift 50 pounds and navigate varied work environments
- 5Proficiency in electronic health records and rapid information retrieval
- 6Strong verbal communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration and patient education
- 7Ability to remain composed during high-pressure clinical situations
