What You'll Do11

  • 1Build architectural designs and construction documents for industrial facility renovations
  • 2Investigate and design building envelope systems including roofs and walls
  • 3Assist owners in defining facility requirements for advanced technologies and food and beverage projects
  • 4Lead architectural design and manage multidisciplinary industrial project teams
  • 5Define program requirements based on production processes and environmental needs
  • 6Conduct code research specific to project sites and propose integrated solutions
  • 7Develop base plans and coordinate technical requirements with engineering disciplines
  • 8Create specifications for permits and construction documentation
  • 9Answer RFIs and review submittals throughout pre-construction phases
  • 10Guide junior designers and strengthen client relationships
  • 11Implement solutions that improve client performance and achieve strategic goals

Requirements10

  • 15+ years designing industrial/manufacturing facilities from concept to construction documents
  • 2Minimum five years executing advanced technology and life science projects
  • 3Proven experience with ISO clean rooms, labs, and food and beverage facilities
  • 4Expertise in building codes and construction document development
  • 5Strong communication and client interaction skills
  • 6Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • 7Bachelor of Architecture required with registered architect license
  • 8Master of Architecture preferred along with NCARB license
  • 9Experience with greenfield and retrofit projects
  • 10Familiarity with process engineering coordination for production equipment installations
