What You'll Do12
- 1Act as primary technical and business focal point for electrical equipment and field service portfolio
- 2Provide informed technical input for bid go/no-go decisions
- 3Partner with Sales and Strategic Accounts for optimized bid strategies
- 4Manage PGS-Houston Applications Engineering resources and tender priorities
- 5Lead estimating engineers with task assignments and performance management
- 6Develop standard solutions to improve cost quality and execution efficiency
- 7Analyze specifications to determine material labor and equipment requirements
- 8Conduct customer site visits for innovative solution delivery
- 9Maintain strong customer relationships while managing expectations
- 10Require 5+ years of engineering team leadership experience
- 11Demonstrate senior-level expertise in electrical equipment field service
- 12Thrive in fast-paced results-oriented environment with travel capability up to 25%
Requirements12
- 1Minimum 5 years managerial/leadership experience in engineering
- 2Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 38-10 years relevant industry experience
- 4Senior expertise in power systems integration or switchgear MCC applications
- 5Proven leadership and mentorship skills
- 6Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- 7Commitment to continuous improvement and estimating KPIs
- 8Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- 9In-depth knowledge of Powell equipment including 5/15kV Switchgear 38kV Switchgear
- 10Familiarity with low voltage medium voltage MCCs control rooms panelboards relay panels
- 11Experience with field modifications and electrical drawing interpretation
- 12Knowledge of industry standards ANSI ISO and applicable codes
