What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves, in customers' homes with high quality and speed.
- 2Deliver an excellent customer experience by explaining repairs clearly and offering value-added solutions that improve home comfort and safety.
- 3Maintain the company truck and manage parts efficiently, using a smartphone and industry-leading app for ordering and technical support.
- 4Build expertise in EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification to handle refrigeration systems safely and effectively.
- 5Follow diagnostic processes and safety protocols to ensure consistent workmanship on every repair.
- 6Communicate with dispatchers and customers to optimize daily routes and meet appointment windows.
- 7Provide on-the-job training to new technicians as part of the peer mentoring program.
- 8Complete paperwork and digital logs accurately using provided mobile tools, reducing administrative burden.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or general education degree.
- 2EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification.
- 31-2 years of experience in appliance repair or related mechanical field (preferred).
- 4Ability to drive automatic transmission company vehicle and travel up to 100% of the workday.
- 5Valid driver's license for the state(s) in which you work, with a clean driving record.
- 6Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
- 7Comfortable using a smartphone for parts ordering and navigation.
- 8Flexible schedule including overtime and variable hours as needed.
- 9Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- 10Pass a background check and drug screen.
