Own sheet metal assembly and inspection work on aircraft assemblies at scale within aerospace programs. What You'll Do7

  • 1Build and install sheet metal parts and assemblies in aircraft ensuring structural integrity and proper system function
  • 2Fitting and assembling skins frames and other components with alignment and fit accuracy
  • 3Drill fit and rivet sub-assemblies such as tail booms and stabilizers
  • 4Collaborate with inspectors to run tests and verify correct assembly and workmanship
  • 5Read blueprints sketches and diagrams to guide fabrication and repairs
  • 6Ensure parts are free of defects and within specified tolerances
  • 7Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with aviation standards

Requirements5

  • 1Minimum of six years related experience or equivalent education
  • 2Ability to read and interpret blueprints sketches and diagrams
  • 3Current Airframe or Powerplant license is a plus but not required
  • 4Must be able to read write and speak English
  • 5Willingness to travel relocate to Columbus MS or Phoenix AZ as needed
